To All of our Hockey Families
Hi Everyone,Some of you may know me, some may not. I am the Scheduler and Team Manager for the Bantam Mjr II / A team. I am sending this email out as a reach for help to assist one of our hockey families in a time of need.
Some of you may already know that Henry Sawicki, the father of one of our goalies has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer, Stage 3-4 not operable or curable. Craig, his son got his awesome goalie start with Hamden and has since come to our organization.
As many of us have already experienced at some time in our life the emotional and financial hardship of this or something similar, we all understand the added hardship of this during the holidays, especially when it is a spouse and there are children to be strong for.
I am asking that anyone that is able to, to offer donations that can be applied towards the hockey tuition expense and other living expenses and needs. If it is a donation made towards the tuition, checks can be made directly to the "CT Clippers" noted in memo: Sawicki Donation - Bantam Mjr II/A. This is a charitable donation and the 501 (c)3 number will be provided to all donors for this purpose. Please submit them to the address below so that the need towards tuition can be determined and anything that might go over can be worked out with the organization towards other expenses. (Any overages in their account will be directly refunded to them by the organization)
