Todd Christopher Andrews, 1966 - 2006
Todd Christopher Andrews, 39, of Cromwell, died Thursday May 18, 2006 in Connecticut. He was the son of Robert J. and Patricia (Chabot) Andrews of Portsmouth, R.I.Todd was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on November 8, 1966. He was the Executive Chef at the University of New Haven. A graduate of Avon Old Farms in Connecticut and the University of New Hampshire. Todd was an avid boater, sports fisherman and sports enthusiast in general especially hockey.
Besides his parents he leaves his son Ryan Patrick Andrews of Cromwell, CT. Two brothers Robert J. Andrews of Chicago, IL and Brendan J. Andrews of Tustin, CA, a sister Kerry E. Doherty of Portsmouth, R.I. Two nephews Timothy Doherty, Trevor Doherty and a niece Kaitlyn Doherty all of Portsmouth, R.I. and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Todd's son Ryan played with the CT Whalers and then joined the Connecticut Clippers Bantam Major Team and also played Varsity hockey with Xavier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday May 22, 2006 at St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, R.I at 10:00am. Burial in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown, R.I. Visiting hours will be Sunday May 21, 2006 from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm in the O’Neill-Hayes Funeral Home, 465 Spring St., Newport, R.I. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2374 Post Road, Suite 203, Warwick, RI 02886.
