Squirt Majors 9/29 Recap
The Squirt Majors once again hosted the Suffolk PAL. In a team turn around, the Clippers revisited the fight with new strategies and were able to come out on top. The first period ended in a tight 2-1 score, with David Piekut, assisted by Chase Harwell, and Tyler Augustinsen, assisted by Chris Adamsons, scoring the first two goals. The second period gave the Clippers another three goals while the defense effectively shut down the Suffolk PAL team. Taggart Corriveau, with a nice wrap around shot was assisted by Evan Sliker and Harwell, and scored the first goal in the 2nd, he also assisted in the second and third goals scored by Piekut and Sliker. The third period found the Suffolk PAL team trying to rally, but unable to score more than two goals the fell behind by three when Philip Motter, assisted by Adamsons, scored the final goal of the game for the Clippers, ending the game with a 6-3 win.
